Happy Birthday to Ubuntu

Hoy hace 5 años Mark Anuncio la primer version de Ubuntu.
Esos dias usaba CentOS en los servidores y Debian Unstable como desktop.
Probe Ubuntu como Desktop y adios Debian como Desktop.
Luego en 2006 salio la primer version LTS de Ubuntu y apartir de alli tome a Ubuntu Server como mi plataforma en servidores, para la empresa como para los clientes.
En una ocacion vi que squirrelmail traia unas fallas de seguridad y no se habian aplicado a ubuntu, veo en el sitio del squirrelmail unos parches, fui al irc en #ubuntu-motu para comentar la situacion y la respuesta fue: quieres aprender a parcharlo ? y me llevaron de la mano para poder hacer los parches para squirrelmail luego siguieron parches al clamav.
Asi fue como conoci un grupo de personas dispuestas a ayudarte a ayudar. Entre ellas Scott Kitterman

Una cosa que he visto y confirmo cada vez. Ubuntu hace honor a su significado.

Today 5 years ago Mark announced The first Ubuntu Version.
Those days I was using CentOS on servers and Debian Unstable as my desktop.
Then Tested Ubuntu as Desktop and said goodbye to Debian as desktop
Then in 2006 came out the first Ubuntu LTS version and since then I took Ubuntu Server as my platform for servers for my business and form my customers.
Some day I saw that squirrelmail had some security bugs and haven't been aplied to Ubuntu, found some patches on the squirrelmail site, went to irc on #ubuntu-motu to talk about the situation and they answered: Want to learn to fix it? they lead me so I can learn how to make the pathes for squirrelmail, then clamav patches came next.
That's how I met a group of great people able to help you to help. Among them was Scott Kitterman
Thank you Scott for your patience and help.
One thing I've seen and every time I can confirm. Ubuntu honors it's meaning.
